Must have knowledge on EPZ Labor Act & Rules, BNBC, Higg vFEM, Alliance, Sedex.
Knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law & Rules, applicable Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law, ILO conventions, Accord, BSCI and 14001: 2015 will be considered as added advantage.
Preference will be given for candidates having relevant knowledge or experience in carbon emission reduction initiatives, renewable energy, sustainability initiatives, LEED Certifications for Green Factory.

Responsibilities & ContextVentura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd is looking for a potential talent for the position of Officer-Compliance under Administration Department.Job Responsibilities:Assist the Sr. Officer in preparing the factory for different audits (e.g., HIGG vFEM, Customers' CoC, C-TPAT, any other social, technical or environmental audit).Assist to ensure fullest implementation of customers' CoC, BEPZA Law and others related laws/ rules throughout the organization.Assist to ensure that the factory is always prepared or ready for audits both internal and external audits including social, environmental, security, technical, etc.Follow up and ensure implementation of all corrective and preventive actions as per submitted CAP to relevant stakeholders.Assist to develop, review, periodically update, publish and implement applicable compliance policies as per local law & different stakeholder requirements.Educate and train factory employees on compliance standards and requirements.Liaise with and undertake needful initiatives for BEPZA, Compliance Audit firms, and other related offices/ stakeholders to ensure compliance standards are practice in place.Prepare internal audit plan, conduct internal audit as per schedule and report to management regarding the improvement of the system.Skills & ExpertiseCompliance Audit Environmental Compliance Security compliance Social ComplianceCompensation & Other Benefits
