Responsibilities & Context:Job Context:Hotel Nandini under the umbrella of Karupannya Tourism Limited(KTL) is a sister concern of Karupannya Group. Hotel Nandini wants to have a long term professional relationship with the Front Office In-Charge. Being the in-charge of Front Office department he should be passionate, dedicated and energetic to perform the entrusted responsibility.Responsibilities of Front Office In-Charge:1. Defining and implementing front desk objectives and procedures.2. Trains, cross -trains, and retrains all front office personnel.3. Participates in the selection of front office personnel.4. Schedules the front office staff.5. Supervises workload during shifts.6. Evaluates the job performance of each front office employee.7. Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.8. Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.9. Ensuring that the front desk and reception area is kept clean and organized.10. Maintaining front desk office supplies and equipment.11. Managing front office budgets, records, and contracts.12. Supervising staff and all front desk activities including bookings, appointments, phone calls, and emails.13. Generating reports and feedback for presentation to the Hotel Manager.14. Performing administrative duties such as filing and updating records as needed.15. Maintaining and recording hotel front desk software.16. Maintains master key control.17. Verifies and monitors that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.18. Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.19. Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.20. Reviews and completes credit limit report.21. If necessary, receives information from the previous shift front desk person and passes on pertinent details to the incoming front desk person.22. Checks cash in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift.23. Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.24. Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily room count. Monitor selling status of rooms daily.25. Monitor high balance guest and take appropriate action.26. Wears the proper uniform at all times. Requires all front office employees to wear proper uniforms at all times.27. Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit.28. Review Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis.29. Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests managers and other employees.30. Good understanding of procedures and practices of the hospitality industry.31. Upholds the hotel's commitment to hospitality.32. Monitor all V.I.P's special guests and requests.33. Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.34. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality Management
  • Diploma in Hotel Management in Hospitality Management
  • Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology,Daffodil International University students will get preference
Experience:
  • 3 to 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Only Male
Front Office Department In-Charge must have working experience in Front Office Department for atleast 3 years in any of the 3 star hotel of Gulshan, Banani and Uttora.Skills & Expertise:Front Office,Hotel and Hospitality ManagementCompensation & Other Benefits:
