Should have a strong product knowledge/experience in sweater product category.Has good understanding of garment construction, costing, and fabric.Has strong sweater factory/production background.Should be a quick learner, team player, bright, intelligent and analytical.Good command of English language, both written and spoken.Very good communication and negotiation Skill.Good analytical, problem solving and time management skills.Good leadership and teambuilding skills.Very good understanding on virtual meeting and can manage work virtually.Responsibilities & ContextTo manage and develop business of designated customers for sweater product category by coordinating the local resource market for the sourcing, product development and all production activities from product development to delivery.Keep abreast of Customers' needs and responsible for sourcing market development, reviewing and proposing to add or exit suppliers.Communicate with buyers on a regular basis to provide up-to-date info with regard to the status of production and shipment of garments.Responsible for supplier development and supplier briefing, seasonal supplier evaluation and seasonal capacity blocking for production.Follow the guidelines on the assigned product categories (sweater) and being the key communicator for the assigned product areas in the business stream.Ensure satisfactory execution of all POs placed for his/ her category to meet all commercial KPIs.Coordinate the sourcing communication for assigned product group/division.Coordinate all operational activities from proto sample development, costing and production tracking, fabric and trim development etc.Communicate order details and requirements to suppliers / production units and manage / control the whole end-to-end/proto till production process (incl dyeing, wash and printing process).Coordinate the price negotiation with suppliers as designated by direct supervisor.Provide clarity and input to the line manager and cross functional parties (eg: QA/Technical Teams) on order status and supplier capabilities.Responsible for tracking critical path, forecasting delays and course corrective action if needed with proactive action plans to ensure On Time Delivery.Identify and diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present alternatives to buyers and line seniors.Responsible for production in the assigned factories and maintain liaison with QA Depts/Factory Mgt Team for quality, inspections, delivery deadlines etc.Compensation & Other BenefitsAs per company policyEmployment StatusFull TimeJob LocationDhakaRead Before Apply This opportunity is available only to those who have experience working with denim products.
