- Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
- Solid HR generalist experience (recruitment, performance management, C&B, learning & development, payroll, personal income tax, labour law etc.) for at least 8 years.
- Experience working in multinational companies.
- Good knowledge of local labour law of Malaysia & a plus for Bangladesh.
- IT savvy and familiar with commercial HR software.
- Promote Bühler as a strong employer brand using social media and partnership with universities, academic and industrial associations.
- Provide resource planning consulting services to the hiring managers according to business plan.
- Ensure operational excellence in end-to-end recruitment activities.
- Coordinate and execute all on & off-boarding activities.
- Manage off-boarding in compliance with local labor law.
- Responsible for all benefits administration and handle benefits related enquiries.
- Manage third-party vendors e.g. insurance including annual renewal and negotiation with these vendors.
- Handle monthly payroll activities including update of employee records and generate reports.
- Work with an outsourced payroll vendor to prepare annual tax submissions such as Form EA, Form E etc.
- Work with the Managing Director & Regional HR Director on annual salary review and bonus review process.
- Promote high employee engagement through regular communication sessions, company activities and corporate events.
- Coach and support employees and line managers on the annual performance review process.
- Review objectives setting for employees to ensure adherence to the Employee Performance Management program & SMART guidelines.
- Partner with line managers in development needs of employees e.g. recommending internal/ external training measures, sourcing & evaluating external training programs.
- Responsible for training administration including course enrollment, submission of claims, update training records and nomination of regional/ global training programs.
- Oversee the relocation and repatriation of foreign employees such as immigration matters, accommodation arrangement, home search, shipment of household goods and taxation.
- Work closely with Regional HR team to ensure IA and foreign local hire management is in line with policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for accurate employee data in HR SAP, regular update of organization chart & annual budgeting exercise.
- Provide reports as requested e.g., cost forecast, manpower forecast etc.
- Drive HR projects roll out and improvements such as HR processes, benefits and policy reviews etc.
- High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Strong business acumen and HRBP mind-set to enable business through alignment with HR strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels in the organization, including Senior Management.
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
