Responsibilities & Context:Manage all VAT & Tax-related activities in compliance with local laws and regulations.Prepare and file periodic VAT and Tax returns accurately and on time.Maintain proper documentation and records for VAT and Tax audits.Assist in resolving any VAT & Tax-related queries and handle assessments by tax authorities.Monitor changes in VAT & Tax laws and recommend necessary actions for compliance.Support management with tax planning and cost optimization initiatives.Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of Withholding VAT & Tax and timely deposits.Coordinate with internal and external auditors on VAT & Tax matters.Education Requirements:Master of Business Administration (MBA)/ Master of Commerce (M.COM) in Accounting from a Public UniversityExperience:
  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Insurance
Additional Job Requirements:CA (CC) from a Reputed CA firm with Professional Level PassedCandidates having prior experience in ERP will have an added advantageStrong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT & Tax Laws and Regulations.In-depth knowledge of the Insurance Act, Regulations & SRO.Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions, MS Word, and PowerPointAbility to lead a team, work well independently, and within a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work accurately under pressure and be effective at multitaskingStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsSkills & Expertise:Accounting Software,ERP Software,MS OfficeCompensation & Other Benefits:
