Manager - Weaving

• Plan, organize, and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly weaving production targets.
• Ensure smooth operation of looms (air jet, rapier, shuttle, or others as applicable).
• Monitor loom efficiency, machine utilization, and fabric quality on a regular basis.
• Control and minimize weaving defects, ensuring zero-defect fabric production.
• Supervise and guide supervisors, operators, fitters, and helpers for effective performance.
• Manage shift operations, manpower allocation, attendance, and discipline.
• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for weaving machines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to looms, dobby, jacquard, and accessories.
• Coordinate with Production Planning & Control (PPC), Sourcing, and Maintenance departments.
• Ensure correct yarn requirements, fabric design, weave plans, and loom settings.
• Prepare and submit production reports, efficiency reports, downtime analysis, and wastage reports.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices (Kaizen, 5S, etc.) to improve productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies in weaving operations.

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering

• At least 8 years
