- Assist the Project Director in leading and coordinating day-to-day project implementation across all technical areas and geographic regions.
- Oversee the development and execution of work planning, budgeting, performance frameworks in close collaboration with technical leads and partners.
- Monitor project implementation to ensure alignment of project activities with donor guidelines, national policies, and EpiC’s technical standards.
- Facilitate integrated delivery of interventions across GHS, MCH and nutrition, components.
- Provide technical input and guidance to ensure high-quality, evidence-based interventions and messages.
- Support institutional capacity building of government counterparts Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , Ministry of Women and Children Affairs etc.) and civil society partners.
- Track progress against project indicators and targets, identify implementation bottlenecks and lead timely adaptive management and course corrections.
- Promote the use of behavioral insights, community feedback, and local data to refine communication approaches and enhance program effectiveness.
- Supervise and provide mentorship to program and operations staff, fostering teamwork and high performance.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff, in alignment with Human Resources policies and project needs.
- Assist HR team in performance management of staff.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and U.S. Department of State Government regulations.
- Maintain strong liaison between the project and stakeholders including government agencies, donors, NGOs, and implementing partners.
- Represent the project in technical working groups, donor meetings, and national forums when delegated by the Project Director.
- Support the Project Director in managing sub-awardees, ensuring quality implementation, monitoring, and compliance.
- Review sub-award scopes, deliverables, and budgets and ensure alignment with project goals and donor requirements.
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Communication, International Development, or related field.
- MBBS or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is an advantage
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field; medical degree (MBBS) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in managing health projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Proven experience in Risk Communication and Community Engagement , maternal and child health, nutrition, outbreak preparedness, and community mobilization.
- Demonstrated experience working with U.S. Department of State Government or other international donors and familiarity with their rules and regulations.
- Prior experience in coordination with government ministries and multisectoral stakeholders in Bangladesh.
- Strong knowledge of gender dynamics, social behavior change, and community-based health programming.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Bangla (written and spoken) is required.
