asic understanding on duty structures, foreign exchange guidelines, with relation to import activities and basic shipping termsResponsibilities & ContextManage and control customs & revenue activities related to companyShould have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs Act, Capable Customs Audit and related issues with Customs·Maintain effective communication with Customs, Bond & VAT Officials; and other organizations·Maintain Excel soft copy of Bond register Issue VAT Challan 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and submit monthly VAT return (9.1)·Capable on matters such as Bill of Entry, Customs SRO, HS Code, Customs Act, Import Export·Manage L/C related work which include - corresponding with vendors, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring shipment, document requirement formalities and custom clearingFollow up with bank and insurance matters·Handling C&F, freight forwarder, shipping agent & other related vendor for import works·Responsible for timely understanding and coordinating business operations with customs, port authorities, and other government departments at the ports of Bangladesh (Chattogram and Payra Port);·Familiar with the import business process of engineering projects, such as opening letters of credit, customs clearance of goods, and transportation of goods·Familiarize oneself with the local market, select qualified suppliers, and purchase engineering materials·Strong ability to handle emergency affairs and negotiation skills·Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating patience and respect·Collaborate well with overseas team members and provide support and encouragement when needed·Able to manage projects and analyse, judge, and make decisions on complex issues.Compensation & Other Benefits
