Head of Planning (Textile & Garments)

• Knowledge of Customer requirements (Critical Path, Order Placements, Delivery Flexibility)
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Process, Machine capacity planning, lead time and supply chain management.

• Prepare and monitor the annual capacity planning as per the budget.
• Overseeing all activities of the planning function, making decision on order acceptance.
• Coordinating with internal/ external teams and ensuring that plant capacities are fully utilized at the agreed performance levels.

• Make sure the company cost per minute (CPM) is achieved through loading, optimizing efficiency and direct, indirect requirements.
• Delivering in full on time (DIFOT) via order acceptance with proper capacity working and order execution.
• Work with unit planners/operation teams to deliver operational KPI's.
• Make sure that embellishment requirements are properly planned to support line input requirement & to meet agreed deliveries.
• Work out the monthly & quarterly forecast with Marketing team.
• Achieve budgeted sales by creating required capacity, achieving the desired efficiency and proper monitoring.
• Make sure customer compliance standards are maintained in the factory.
• Process Improvement- developing and implementing systems/ standards/ procedures to improve the effectiveness of planning/ loading Processes & manufacturing best practices
• Team Development for ensuring proper execution of the plan.
• Attending for management meetings, conduct meetings & preparation of reports.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role as and when required.
