Responsibilities & Context:The Manager - Security Department will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all security operations to protect company personnel, assets and premises. This position will lead a team of security supervisors and guards, ensure compliance with security policies and respond promptly to incidents. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning and the ability to manage complex security operations across multiple sites and projects.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Security Management
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the company's security strategies.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
  • Establish and maintain security contingency and emergency response plans.
  • Liaise with local authorities, law enforcement agencies and emergency services to ensure rapid response when needed.
Personnel Management & Supervision
  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate security supervisors, guards and related staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters, leave schedules and manage attendance records for all security personnel.
  • Conduct regular briefings and training on security protocols, emergency procedures and updated threats.
  • Foster a disciplined and motivated security team with high ethical standards.
Site & Asset Protection
  • Ensure 24/7 monitoring and protection of all office premises, project sites, warehouses and other facilities.
  • Oversee the installation, operation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV, access controls, alarms and communication equipment.
  • Monitor all entry/exit points, vehicle movements and visitor management procedures.
  • Perform surprise inspections at different locations to verify compliance with security standards.
Incident Management & Reporting
  • Investigate thefts, trespassing, vandalism, or other security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Take immediate corrective action following incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all incidents, patrol logs and investigation records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual security performance reports for management review.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Professional certifications in Security Management or related training will be an advantage.
Experience:
  • At least 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate, Group of Companies, Developer
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Only Male
  • Preference will be given to retired Armed Forces with relevant corporate security experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in security operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in managing security in real estate, construction, manufacturing, industrial, or large corporate environments.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and team management skills.
  • High level of integrity, discipline and accountability.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick, sound decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic knowledge of security technology and systems.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to different project sites.
