Responsibilities & Context:Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware.Monitor server performance and ensure optimal uptime.Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.Perform regular backups and restore operations to ensure data integrity and availability.Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.Monitor network and system security, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security policies.Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.Manage firewall and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Provide technical support to bank staff for hardware, software, and network issues.Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain a helpdesk system and ensure issues are tracked and resolved promptly.Develop and provide training to staff on IT best practices and new technologies.Plan and execute system upgrades and patches to ensure software and systems are up-to-date.Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to improve IT operations.Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.Test disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a system failure.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to IT and data security.Prepare and submit reports on IT operations, security incidents, and system performance.Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the supervisor or Management of the Bank.Education Requirements:Minimum Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from any reputed university with no 3rd class in whole academic record.Candidates with relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are preferred.Experience:
At least 3 years
