Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annual) in line with accounting standards.
  • Prepare banking-related reports and projected financial statements as required.
  • Develop and prepare a short-term and long-term budgetary plan and cost management.
  • Rigorously conduct extensive variance analysis between actual versus budgeted figures and place it to the competent Management on identified improvements.
  • Provide guidelines to the direct reports regarding Financial Reporting, Budget and Budgetary Control, Assisting Statutory or Special Audit, Corporate Tax and VAT Issues, ERP / Automation and Internal Control System.
  • Preparation of Financial statements monthly, half-yearly and annually.
  • Ensure all legal and all financial policies of the organisation are in compliance with the Statutory / Regulatory bodies
  • Prepare and develop budget process including preparation, consolidation and distribution of budgets and related reports
  • Process vendor payments and check requests
  • Make sure an accurate filling and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents
  • Identify and analyse financial and nonfinancial risks in order to minimise company risks
  • Generate short- and long-term financial forecasting and planning in alignment with production, sales, as well as stock management
  • Prepare a short- and long-term plan to ensure effective and efficient Tax & VAT Management.
  • Visit factories and depots as needed for financial monitoring and reporting.
  • Perform special assignments assigned by the Management.
Education Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • MBA / M Com in Accounting or Finance from UGC UGC-approved, reputed University. Professional Certification: ACMA or ACA (Partly Qualified)
Additional Job Requirements:The applicants should have experience in the following business area:
  • Working experience in leading domestic & International Freight, Global Shipping & logistics industry
  • Cost control, Financial Reporting Forecasting, Internal Control Systems, Product Costing budgeting, Product Pricing, VAT Tax Management Will get preference.
