Join our family and build an inspired career you're proud of.Job ContextThe Assistant Team Manager holds the accountability for managing the designated customer accounts, guiding the merchandising team and liaising with production plants, customers and suppliers to ensure processing of the customer orders in the most effective manner whilst ensuring profit margins.Job ResponsibilitiesManage the team allocated to you, lead; motivate them to perform their duties while ensuring proper merchandising systems and continuous monitoring is in place.Analyze team's efficiency and productivity and give continuous feed-backs how to improve and provide required training etc.Ensure T&A is strictly followed and obtaining necessary micro level plans from the respective factories at time of placing business. Intervene at the right time on potential critical issues and liaise with Customer, Vendors and your team finding quick solutions.Conduct effective risk management through risk analysis process and ensure proactive solutions are given to potential risks involved.Plan the sales budgets and margins each financial year and ensuring to achieve the agreed budgets within the customers who you are responsible for. Reviews would be held Monthly/Quarterly. Monitor and manage Planned vs Actual figures.Work as an independent profit center within the business unit and ensure continuous flow of orders while maximizing margin and reduce costs.Ensure to avoid any air freights and quality claims and work towards achieving ZERO quality claims and air freights.Ensure business are awarded to the factories who are fully compliant and necessary audits are carried out by ZXY compliance team and liaise with Compliance team to achieve corrective action plans and meet deadlines.Ensure continuous product development is offered to our customers and work very closely with the design and product development teams to grow/capture additional business.Build customer base and generate business through existing and new customers by studying markets and opportunities.Maintain very good level of customer relationship, regular phone calls, prompt responses, study customer web sites and create opportunities new areas of business.Work closely with all divisions/departments to build harmony and work as a team to achieve common ZXY goalsExecute costing and price negotiations with vendors and buyers. Always offer right first-time prices to customers and a very good understanding about competition.Continuously source new factories and offer new product categories to existing customers where ZXY is not currently supplying and enhance product representation of your team and business unit.Visit factories regularly each week to ensure quality and production is running smoothly and build good PR with Vendors.Education Requirements:
Master of Science (MSc)
Post Graduate in Textile Manufacturing / Apparel Merchandising from a well reputed instituteExperience:
10 to 15 years
