Responsibilities & Context:Job Summary: Work within a team caring for in-patients and out-patients, mostly general medicine with options of all basic investigations including ultrasound, echocardiography performed by medicine doctors. Emergency and oncall coverage backup to a junior doctor. Being responsible for quality care, following and updating our guidelines, teaching and supervising junior doctors and paramedics. While working at LAMB, doctors also have the opportunity:To participate in clinical audit projects and research·To teach in LAMB Training Centre and Nursing Institute·Supervising and teaching junior doctors, as a mentor of specific junior (where applicable)·Support should not be routinely needed.Trusted to call for help. Not expected to solve all the problems of the round or on call.Occasionally may be left in sole charge eg 1 day·Taking over some extra responsibilities as delegated, shows initiative to improve processes in the departmentAs well as a pleasant working environment, LAMB offers a good and high standard, practical experience; working with experienced doctors including expatriates. There are weekly joint medical education meetings and departmental teachings.Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

At least 3-5 years of documented working experience in well reputed hospital(s).
PGT training in medicine and/or any additional training or qualifications will be added benefit.
FCPS/MD/MRCP Part 1 completed candidates will be given preference but not mandatory.

Compensation & Other Benefits:Gross Salary Tk.50,000-75`000/month depending on experience and qualifications;Other benefits include Medical Care at LAMB Hospital, Provident Fund, and a festival allowance (100% of basic salary) once per year.LAMB accommodation within LAMB campus is usually available for doctors at affordable rent. Housing has security, 24 hours electricity and safe water supply.
