Responsibilities & Context:
  • Strategic Planning & Business Development
o Define and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.o Identify and evaluate market opportunities, customer segments, and emerging trends in battery/Energy Storage Systems.o Develop and roll out business models and go-to-market plans-including distribution and channel strategies.o Set and manage sales targets, forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.o Expand into new territories and customer segments while optimizing cost of sales (S&D).
  • Marketing & Brand Management
o Craft and oversee strategic marketing campaigns, including branding, positioning, and promotional activities to enhance product visibility and perceived value.o Conduct market research, analyze competitor behavior, and leverage insights to refine offer positioning.o Develop messaging, sales collateral, and communication strategies to support sales efforts and elevate brand presence.
  • Revenue & Financial Management
o Oversee P&L to ensure profitable growth.o Set and monitor sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs; manage budgets and margins.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Performance
o Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team; conduct performance reviews and training.o Foster cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure executional alignment.o Coordinate with cross-functional departments: product management, production, finance, MIS, accounts, planning, etc., to ensure business alignment.
  • Client Relationship & Channel Development
o Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, government agencies, and industry partners.o Establish and manage distribution networks and dealer relationships to expand market reach.
  • Market Intelligence & Compliance
o Monitor competitor strategies, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the battery/storage domain.o Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and environmental regulations.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
o Provide regular sales performance reports, market analysis, and strategic insights to senior leadershipo Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagements to enhance brand visibility.Education Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Systems, or relevant field; an MBA is considered advantageous.Experience:
  • 17 to 22 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Battery, Storage cell
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 40 to 50 years
Typically, 10-15 years of experience in battery technologies, energy storage, renewable energy, or automotive sectors, including several years in leadership or sales roles.Strong technical understanding of batteries or storage systems.Demonstrated success in managing large-scale sales projects, achieving targets, and building sales pipelines.Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills; fluency in relevant languages (e.g., English, plus local languages) is often preferred.Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, ERP, SND Software and sales reporting systems.Skills & Expertise:Direct Sales and Marketing,Handling Distributors or Dealers,Retail Sales and Marketing,sales and Distribution,Sales Marketing,Sales target, Customer ServiceCompensation & Other Benefits:
