Join our family and build an inspired career you're proud of.Job ContextThe Senior Product Developer / Product Developer will be accountable for initiating, managing and driving the execution of the Design vision in the development of all products for the Knit & Woven category assigned from raw material inception to pre-production sample (PP) approval. The incumbent will work closely with internal cross-functional partners in Design, Technical Design, and Merchandising on a day-to-day basis and throughout the process to maintain a strong and aligned vision on the product direction from beginning to end.Job ResponsibilitiesExecute and follow-up on developments and sampling up to SMSDevelop ZXY seasonal collection as well as buyer specific range every seasonConduct a thorough study of the tech packs received from the customers /senior merchandisers / design departmentAnalyze the fabrics, trims and knitting parameters, wash in detailSource raw material and further development as needed to meet target raw material price architecture (good, better, best)Coordinate with factories and suppliers for any new developments, sourcing and samplingPrepare time and action plan (T&A) for customer developments and maintain T&A with the help of account head and merchants and to update on weekly basisCreate sampling request in MIS, and generate a product file style wiseMeet deadlines for all developments and samples with the right qualityResearch new fabrics / technology, washing techniques and trims for new developments and samplesMaintain and make available all technical data for Design and Merchandising prior to costing during the development phasePrepare and continuously update the fabric, trims, print, embroideries, washes and stitch library including technical data and price ideas for easy referenceConduct risk analysis during product developmentComment on the accuracy of sample for colors, as well as fabric, print, pattern, embellishment status, and accuracyHandover the styles to Merchandisers along with all the product details and technical information after any order is confirmedPreserve sample data and utilize it during bulk productionEnsure Fit approval & wearer testsCommunicate about development status with concern Merchandiser/ DesignerPrepare sample delivery statusMonitor sample executionEducation Requirements:

Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fashion Designing

Graduate in Fashion Design, Technical Design or related field from a well reputed instituteExperience:

At least 8 years
