Responsibilities & Context:Leadership & StrategyProvide strategic leadership to the sales team, aligning departmental goals with overall company objectives.Guide, mentor, and support SMs, DSMs, and ASMs to maximize team performance.Develop and implement sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to achieve targeted results.Ensure sales strategies are aligned with market trends, competition, and customer needs.Performance ManagementMonitor, review, and evaluate the performance of SMs, DSMs, and ASMs against sales targets and KPIs.Provide coaching and performance feedback, and implement improvement plans where necessary.Ensure timely reporting of sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and client segments.Oversee key account management to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.Develop and maintain high-level relationships with strategic clients.Operational ExcellenceStreamline sales processes and implement best practices for efficiency and scalability.Coordinate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales campaigns and product launches.Monitor market dynamics and recommend adjustments to pricing, product positioning, and promotional activities.People & CultureBuild a positive, results-driven, and collaborative sales culture.Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales leadership roles (SM/DSM/ASM).Promote professional development and career growth opportunities for team members.Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Masters
A Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in any discipline from a reputed Public/Private University.Experience:
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age At least 35 years
