- Market Research and Analysis: Identifying trends, understanding customer preferences, and analyzing sales data to make informed decisions about product development and marketing.
- Product Development and Sourcing: Collaborating with design and production teams to create appealing and marketable collections, sourcing fabrics and materials, and managing sampling processes.
- Marketing Strategy: Developing and implementing marketing plans to promote products, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Sales and Promotion: Working with sales teams to achieve sales targets, managing inventory levels, and ensuring effective product placement and presentation.
- Budget Management: Managing budgets for marketing and merchandising activities.
- Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring merchandising and marketing teams, providing guidance and support.
- Communication and Coordination: Maintaining strong communication and coordination with various departments, including design, production, sales, and buying houses.
- Costing and Negotiation: Managing costing and negotiating prices with suppliers.
- Order Management: Overseeing the entire order process, from initial order confirmation to shipment.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Marketing
- Diploma
- Diploma in Marketing & Merchandising
- 5 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Dyeing Factory
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Strong understanding of the apparel industry: Knowledge of Synthetic Woven fabrics, garment construction, production processes, and trends.
- Marketing expertise: Familiarity with Synthetic Woven marketing strategies, digital marketing, and promotional activities.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Organizational and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Leadership and team management skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve issues.
- Proven working experience in Synthetic Woven Merchandising
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Up to date with the latest Synthetic Woven Merchandising trends and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
- Business degree in Marketing or related field
