Responsibilities & Context:Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) is a leading progressive Shariah based private commercial bank having its network of 141 branches, 5 Sub Branches and 120 Agent Banking outlets across the country with state of the art technology providing fully online services to the customers and a team of highly motivated personnel committed to developing excellence in banking is looking for smart, energetic, proactive, skilled and competent Officers for Internal Control & Compliance Division (IC&CD), Corporate Head Office, Dhaka.Job Location: IC&CD/Anywhere in the country.Job Requirements:

To conduct comprehensive & effective regular/routine internal audit/inspection of Branches/Units or Divisions/ Departments of CHO as per annual plan and guidelines of the Bank;
To carry out surprise/special audit/inspection/investigation as & when required;
To prepare audit report & executive summary along with recommendations on the basis of audit findings/observations;
Ensure that the compliance with the internal inspection/Bangladesh Bank Inspection report is received from the branches /Divisions within the scheduled time;
Review the compliance report, taking measures for compliance of non-compliant issues and to furnish summary report in this regard;

Education Requirements:

Post-Graduation degree preferably in commerce/business discipline from a reputed University having no third class/ division or equivalent CGPA in academic career;
CA/ACCA/ICMA-intermediate level/Application level qualified will get preference;

Experience:

At least 5 years

Additional Job Requirements:

Age At most 40 years

Candidates must have sound knowledge & experience in General Banking/ Investment/Foreign Trade operations/AML & CFT issues/ DCFCL/Risk Based (Process) Audit, BASEL Accord, VAT, Taxation etc.
Should have good understanding of audit concepts & techniques, compliance of audit observations and effective monitoring skills;
Candidates must have good analytical, problem solving skills along with multi task ability;
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision;
Preferably minimum 5 years' job experience in a reputed commercial bank with at least 2 years' experience in the area of Audit & Inspection/Monitoring & Compliance;
Age within 40 years as on 31.08.2025.
