Responsibilities & Context'Tu Do Restaurant' is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant Manager to join our team. The Accounts assistant manager will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and restaurant industry regulations.Present financial reports to restaurant management and stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop annual budgets in collaboration with restaurant management, considering factors such as sales projections, operating expenses, and capital investments.Monitor budget performance and provide regular variance analysis.Forecast future financial performance based on industry trends, seasonality, and business projections.Cost Control:Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs, labor costs, and other operating expenses.Implement cost-saving measures to optimize profitability without compromising quality.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense management.Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, customer payments, and collections.Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system.Tax Compliance:Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations specific to the restaurant industry.Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the restaurant business.Audit and Compliance:Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.Ensure compliance with restaurant industry regulations, such as food safety standards and liquor licensing requirements.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.Team Leadership:Supervise and train accounting staff, including bookkeepers and clerks.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team performance.Compensation & Other Benefits
