Responsibilities & Context:Christian Service Society (CSS) is a national NGO working across the country, implementing a number of projects and programs in the field of health, education, enterprise, and economic development. We are currently looking for an experienced “Coordinator- Media and Communication” who will lead the organization's internal and external communications, digital platforms, publications, and brand visibility initiatives. This role will be instrumental in positioning CSS's development initiatives to key stakeholders, partners, media, and the community, ensuring our achievements, stories and mobilizing action.Job Responsibilities :Digital Platform and Digital Media :Manage and update the organization's official website, ensuring accurate, engaging, and up-to-date content.Lead strategy, content development, and daily management of CSS's social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. to grow visibility, audience reach and engagement.Develop and implement digital communication campaigns, public awareness initiatives, and program highlight features on social media and web platforms that are strategically aligned with CSS's thematic priorities.Content Development & Publications :Plan, coordinate, develop and edit organizational publications, including the Annual Report, newsletters, brochures, and project reportsTranslate program outcomes, success stories, and complex data into compelling content tailored for diverse audiences, including donors, beneficiaries, media, and partners.Maintain a comprehensive, categorized archive of communication materials, case studies, and multimedia assets, ensuring timely retrieval for advocacy, reporting, and program visibility.Advocacy & Media Relations :Build and sustain strategic partnerships with media professionals across local, national, and development sectors to enhance organizational storytelling, advocacy campaigns, and public engagement efforts.Draft and disseminate press releases, official statements, and media briefs for events and campaigns.Monitor and analyze media coverage trends on organizational and thematic priorities, maintaining a comprehensive press clipping database to support evidence-based communication and advocacy strategies.Branding, Design & Visibility:Ensure consistent application of CSS's brand identity across all communication materials, events, and publications.Support program teams in developing promotional and knowledge products such as promotional materials, factsheets, case studies, posters, and videos.Oversee photography, videography, and documentation for program events and field visits, ensuring alignment with CSS policy and consent protocols.Internal Communication & Knowledge Sharing :Coordinate internal newsletters, and knowledge-sharing.Support donor reporting by compiling success stories, human-interest articles, and visual materials that showcase project impact.Education Requirements:Master's degree in Business Administration / Media Studies/Public Relations/Mass Communication/Public Relations/Development Studies/Social science or a related field.Experience:
  • 2 to 3 years
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age At most 40 years
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in website management, communications, publications and digital media management, preferably within the development/NGO sector.Proven expertise in managing organizational websites and social media accounts.Strong editorial, storytelling, and content creation skills in both Bangla and English.Working knowledge of design tools (Like-Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator etc.) and basic video editing will be an advantage.Strategic communication planning and audience segmentation across digital platformsCreative, engaging storytelling and content adaptation for diverse audiencesStrong interpersonal, coordination, and relationship management skillsProactive and excellent time managementSensitive to diverse perspectives, committed to gender equality and inclusionAbility to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary teamStrong presentation and interpretation skillsCompensation & Other Benefits:After being permanent upon successful completion of the probation period (six months), other benefits will be provided as per the organizational policy, i.e., provident fund, gratuity, festival bonus, yearly increment, staff insurance (kormi Bima), medical allowance (Kormi Sohayota Tohobil), etc.Company Information:
