Responsibilities & Context:Job ContextApplications are invited on an urgent basis for this position in IAHS-H on the following terms and conditions:Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive medical assessments of patients presenting with cardiac conditions, including thorough physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic test interpretation.
  • Providing accurate diagnosis and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients with various cardiovascular disorders, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and congenital heart defects.
  • Delivering high-quality patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and implementing treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs while ensuring adherence to established clinical guidelines and standards of care.
  • Performing or assisting in cardiac procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions under the supervision of senior cardiologists.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to cardiac emergencies, including myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and arrhythmias, by providing advanced life support interventions and coordinating with the emergency medical team for timely interventions.
  • Educating patients and their families about cardiovascular health, disease prevention strategies, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and post-procedural care to promote optimal cardiac health outcomes.
  • Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, nurses, cardiac surgeons, and allied health staff, to ensure coordinated patient care and facilitate seamless transitions between different stages of treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, progress notes, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans, in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of cardiac care services, such as clinical audits, protocol development, and performance improvement projects, to optimize patient outcomes and safety.
  • Staying abreast of the latest developments in cardiology research, treatment modalities, and technological advancements through ongoing professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education programs.
  • Adhering to ethical principles, professional standards, and legal regulations governing medical practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and appropriate use of medical resources, to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and integrity.
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by the competent authority.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
MBBS from any BM & DC recognized institutions.Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age At most 35 years
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good communication skills.
