Responsibilities & Context:Job Context:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICT/Design Teacher to join our dynamic team of teaching and leadership professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for technology and design education, a strong ability to engage students in creative and practical learning experiences, and a commitment to fostering a supportive, innovative, and collaborative school community. Preference will be given to applicants seeking a long-term role within our school.Job Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and inclusive ICT and Design lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and skill levels.Adapt teaching methods, tools, and materials to accommodate varying student abilities and learning backgrounds.Create a positive, student-centered learning environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and active participation.Integrate technology and design thinking into lessons to enhance student learning and innovation.Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement.Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning outcomes and student growth.Collaborate with peers across departments, demonstrating high professional and ethical standards.Set and monitor learning goals to ensure consistent student growth and achievement in ICT and Design.Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with technological and design trends, tools, and best practices.Perform additional duties as required to support school initiatives and objectives.Education Requirements:
  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in ICT, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): School
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age At least 28 years
  • Teaching experience with Grades 6-12, preferably with exposure to International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP/DP, O Level, or A Level curriculam.
  • Proficiency in a range of ICT tools, software applications, and design technologies.
  • Experience in integrating coding, digital media, graphic design, or multimedia projects into the classroom.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students.
  • High level of proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding students in projects, competitions, or exhibitions is a plus.
