Responsibilities & Context:Job PurposeProcurement of capital equipment and goods (Printing items, Capital Machineries, Medical Equipment & Devices, Spare Parts and services, Home Appliance, Bag, Miscellaneous and Wearable items, Fire Safety equipment, Surveillance equipment etc.) as per requirements of different programs in BRAC.Key ResponsibilitiesProcure goods and services in compliance with BPGIP guidelines and procurement policies, ensuring timely delivery to BRAC programmes, enterprises, and subsidiaries.Validate technical specifications, issue RFQs/IFTs, coordinate evaluations, facilitate sample/technical assessments, and manage tender processes including Post Tender Negotiations (PTNs), preparation of Comparative Statements (CS), and obtaining necessary approvals.Coordinate evaluations and stakeholder engagement by organizing technical/sample assessments and facilitating meetings with internal teams and vendors.Issue Purchase Orders (POs), monitor deliveries, and verify vendor bills with complete supporting documents (delivery challans, Mushok, etc.) for accurate payment processing through ERP, coordinating with finance for timely settlement to both local and international vendors.Maintain seamless coordination with programme teams, accounts, and external stakeholders; organize forums and meetings (e.g., Partners' Forum, quarterly review sessions) to strengthen collaboration.Drive sourcing initiatives to expand and improve the supply market, and manage emergency or high-value purchases, particularly during special events or urgent requirements.Ensure compliance for domestic and donor audits, maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.Support the transformation of procurement practices in line with BRAC's social enterprise approach, while managing Cluster Procurement Manager (CPM) responsibilities and facilitating key stakeholder engagements such as the annual Partners' Forum and quarterly coordination meetings.SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.Education Requirements:Bachelor's/ Master's degree/ MBA in any discipline from any recognized institution. (Bachelor of Business/ Science/ Engineering will be preferred)Experience:
At least 2 years
