Responsibilities & Context:Job Summary:-The Deputy Manager - Finance & Accounts at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital plays a key role in supporting the Assistant General Manager in managing the hospital's overall financial operations. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of core accounting activities, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role involves active coordination with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely financial reporting, optimized cash flow, and adherence to statutory requirements. Additionally, the Deputy Manager contributes to strategic financial planning, audit preparedness, and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesBudgeting & Financial PlanningAssist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.Monitor departmental expenditures and provide insights on financial performance.Accounting OperationsOversee daily transaction processing, general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and ERP/accounting system postings.Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.Cash & Bank ManagementMonitor and manage cash flow, petty cash, and bank transactions.Perform and verify bank reconciliations, ensuring liquidity and record accuracy.Compliance & TaxationEnsure compliance with VAT, income tax, and other statutory financial regulations.Maintain current tax documentation and assist in preparing and submitting tax returns.Financial ReportingPrepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to senior management.Support internal and external audit processes through required schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.Risk Management & Internal ControlsAssist in identifying and mitigating financial risks through the implementation of internal control procedures.Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and industry regulations.Coordination & AdministrationLiaise with departments such as Procurement, HR, and Operations to support financial workflows.Maintain audit-ready documentation for assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews.Ad-Hoc ResponsibilitiesPerform financial analysis and reporting as directed by senior leadership.Contribute to special projects related to process improvement, digital transformation, and cost optimization.Education Requirements:Masters /MBA in Accounting or Finance; professional certification such as CA (CC) / Foundation Level in ICMAB.Additional Job Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in cost accounting in which 3 years as Asst. Manager in Finance /Accounts dept.
