Responsibilities & Context:We are looking for experienced and passionate Diploma Engineer (Wood Engineering). Who has practical experience in Furniture Industry.Responsibilities:Develop designs for wooden furniture, fixtures, and structural components.Prepare technical drawings and blueprints using CAD/CAM software.Select appropriate wood materials based on strength, durability, and aesthetics.Supervise the wood processing, cutting, shaping, and assembling processes.Operate and maintain woodworking machinery like saws, lathes, and CNC machines.Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects and compliance with standards.Conduct tests for strength, durability, and finish of wooden products.Implement corrective actions to reduce material wastage and improve product quality.Choose suitable timber, veneers, laminates, and other wood-based materials.Monitor inventory of wood materials and hardware componentsOptimize material usage to reduce cost and waste.Suggest improvements in production techniques to increase efficiency.Implement sustainable and eco-friendly woodworking practices.Research and adopt new tools, machinery, and woodworking technologies.Ensure workplace safety by following standard procedures.Maintain woodworking equipment and ensure proper functioning.Train workers in safe handling of tools and machinery.Coordinate with designers, engineers, and management for project completion.Prepare production reports, material requirement lists, and project updates.Assist in client presentations or proposals when required.Education Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering

Diploma in Wood Engineering (Bangladesh Sweden Polytechnical Institute)Experience:

1 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Furniture Manufacturer

Additional Job Requirements:

Age 25 to 35 years
