Key Accountability 1: Lead the preparation and implementation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) in compliance with the World Bank's Environmental and Social Framework (ESF)Key Activities:Develop, review, and finalize RAP ensuring alignment with ESF and national regulationsCoordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and affected communities during RAP preparation and executionMonitor RAP implementation progress, addressing issues and ensuring timely corrective actions. Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in developing ICT systems for project monitoringHas the demonstrated ability to consistently:Lead the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of Resettlement Action Plans (RAP) in compliance with international safeguard policies and national lawsConduct social impact assessments to identify affected people, risks, and mitigation measuresDesign and oversee fair land acquisition, compensation, and livelihood restoration strategiesFacilitate effective stakeholder engagement, consultations, and grievance redress mechanismsIntegrate gender and vulnerability considerations, including GBV risk mitigation, into resettlement planningProvide capacity building and guidance to project teams, contractors, and local stakeholdersPrepare high-quality reports and documentation for management, clients, and donor agencies.
