Responsibilities & Context:We are one of the leading garments manufacturers in Bangladesh is looking for some Officer- Compliance for our Compliance Department located in Gazipur.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The incumbent will assist in maintaining compliance with buyer requirements, labor law practices, and social & environmental standards to ensure a sustainable and ethical workplace.Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure 100% implementation of the buyer's COC, Labor Law 2006, and Labor Rules.
  • Monitor compliance certification and be able to face their different audits with requirements.
  • Ensure Compliance on Health & Safety as per in in-house checklist.
  • Ensure Non-Discrimination in the course of employment, paying/providing wages/salary/benefits/ facilities/welfare.
  • Ensure that no Force Employment occurred in the factories.
  • Ensure that No Child/Child Looking Workers are employed;
  • Face different types of Buyer Audit.
  • Follow up / take instant corrective action on the auditors' certain minor findings /discrepancies during the audit.
  • Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory conditions, which will address the issue of non-compliance with buyers and take all possible steps to adhere to buyers compliance inspection.
  • Communicate with Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation, etc to lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & train fellow staff.
Education Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience:
  • 2 to 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 32 years
2-6 years of experience in compliance at RMG Industries.Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law & HR practices.Familiarity with buyer audit requirements will be an advantage.Strong interpersonal, reporting, and documentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.Skills & Expertise:Factory Compliance,HR Compliance,Social ComplianceCompensation & Other Benefits:
