Responsibilities & Context:Job Summary: -The Junior Officer / Officer (Cash) - Cafeteria is responsible for managing all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring excellent customer service. The incumbent also works closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operation of the cafeteria, contributing to a hygienic and welcoming food service environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Operate the cash register system and process all cash, card, and mobile payment transactions accurately.Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as necessary.Maintain accurate records of daily sales, transactions, and collections.Greet and interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide information about menu items and pricing.Assist in monitoring inventory and coordinate with kitchen staff regarding stock requirements.Ensure the cashier counter and surrounding area are clean, well-organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.Adhere to hospital policies and protocols regarding hygiene, food safety, and customer service.Report discrepancies, transaction issues, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.Collaborate effectively with cafeteria staff during peak hours to ensure efficient service.Perform daily cash reconciliation and submit all collections to the designated authority.Provide additional support in general cafeteria operations as directed by the Supervisor or Food & Beverage ManagerEducation Requirements:Minimum HSC / Bachelor degree in any discipline is preferred.Additional Job Requirements:
Age At most 35 years
