Responsibilities & Context:We are looking for a highly skilled Manager / Senior Manager in Industrial Engineering to lead process optimization and operational excellence within the RMG (Ready-Made Garments) sector. The role focuses on improving productivity, reducing lead times, enhancing product quality, and implementing cost-efficient manufacturing practices.Support the IE Manager in developing and implementing efficient production systems for both knit and woven lines, including time study, method study, and SMV calculations, to minimize cycle time and maximize throughput.Assist in analyzing and decoding cost drivers in garment manufacturing, identifying operational-level optimization opportunities using Value Stream Mapping (VSM), workload balancing, and resource allocation.Conduct process audits, bottleneck analysis, and layout optimization to reduce Work-in-Progress (WIP), improve line efficiency, and ensure adherence to buyer requirements across knit and woven lines.Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to integrate Lean-Agile methodologies, such as Kanban systems, modular cells, and Kaizen events, for defect reduction and on-time delivery.Utilize digital tools and IE software (Excel, Google Sheets, ChatGPT, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, etc.) for production modeling, KPI tracking, data analysis, and manpower forecasting.Assist in mentoring junior staff and conducting training on work measurement techniques (e.g., PMTS vs. Stopwatch), fostering a culture of continuous improvement aligned with global-ready standards.Monitor and report operational manufacturing costs, including cost per SMV, and support the IE Manager in recommending strategies for method innovation for both knit and woven lines.Ensure compliance with ethical labor practices, sustainability goals, and buyer audits, while optimizing factory floor resources and minimizing non-value-added time.Drive operational-level projects for process improvement, changeover agility, and capacity planning under the guidance of the IE Manager.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.\Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline is a plus.(Preferred) Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.Experience:
At least 10 years
