Responsibilities & Context:A well-established and progressive commercial bank in Bangladesh is inviting applications from dynamic, experienced, and forward-looking professionals for the following key leadership positions. These roles are critical to our continued commitment to strong governance, innovation, and sustainable growth in Bangladesh's competitive banking landscape.Job Description:The CCO will be responsible for formulating and enforcing the bank's credit risk policy in line with Bangladesh Bank's Prudential Guidelines, ensuring quality credit growth and robust portfolio monitoring.Responsibilities:

Formulate credit policy, underwriting standards, and sectoral exposure guidelines.
Review and approve large credit proposals (Retail, SME, Corporate) as per delegated authority.
Monitor credit portfolio quality, classification trends, and provisioning requirements.
Supervise Early Warning Systems (EWS), credit grading, and recovery strategies.
Ensure compliance with BB's credit risk, loan classification, and provisioning regulations.
Guide credit risk assessments, due diligence, and credit committee functions.

Education Requirements:

Masters
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance

Master's/MBA in Finance, Banking, or Economics (Credit Certification preferred).Experience:

At least 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Share Brokerage/ Securities House

Additional Job Requirements:Minimum 15 years of experience in credit functions within commercial banking, with 5+ years in senior credit leadership.Thorough knowledge of BB's credit risk guidelines, loan classification norms, and credit recovery procedures.Exposure to SME financing, project lending, and syndicated loans is desirable.
