Responsibilities & Context:Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance & Quality Control systems in line with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and local regulatory standards.Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety standards throughout raw material procurement, production, storage, and distribution.Supervise laboratory testing, sensory evaluation, and microbiological analysis of products.Conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and maintain proper documentation.Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Train and guide factory staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.Work closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent product quality.Monitor packaging and labeling compliance as per legal and company standards.Prepare reports on quality performance, non-conformance, and continuous improvement.Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology
Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry
Master of Science (MSc) in Microbiology

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Food Engineering/ Food Technology or related discipline.Experience:

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Job Requirements:Minimum 5 years in Quality Control / Quality Assurance within the food processing or food manufacturing industry.Familiarity with food safety systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, GMP).Hands-on experience in laboratory analysis (microbiological, chemical, and sensory).Strong leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and good documentation practices.Ability to lead audits, handles regulatory bodies, and maintains certifications.
