Responsibilities & Context:The incumbent drive zonal sales growth and market expansion by executing effective sales strategies, achieving targets, and optimizing dealer and distribution networks. Ensure seamless coordination across sales, marketing, operations, and distribution to maximize market reach, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Lead and mentor the zone sales team, monitor key performance metrics, implement corrective actions, and support team development. Oversee field execution, strengthen dealer networks, and provide accurate reporting and analysis to guide strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities:Sales Target Achievement Planning: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Track performance against key parameters (volume, manpower, credit, dealer productivity, market gaps, mapping) and take corrective actions.Market Development & Field Execution: Design and implement “road to market” strategies tailored to zonal characteristics. Plan, monitor, and drive field marketing activities such as SGMs, campaigns, seminars, and farmer meetings. Support career path development of the sales & marketing team through structured guidance and monitoring.Operations & Distribution Management: Coordinate with factory and depots for SKU-wise production planning, distribution, and timely supply. Manage dealer networks, ensuring distribution efficiency aligned with zonal productivity. Oversee credit allocation for new and existing customers as per company norms.Leadership & Team Supervision: Supervise and monitor day-to-day activities of the sales team across the zone. Act as a filter point and problem solver, ensuring smooth execution of zonal operations. Mentor and assist reporting managers to enhance overall team performance.Reporting & Analysis: Provide accurate and timely financial and non-financial reports to the supervisor. Analyze zone-performance trends and strategies for growth.Education Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
Experience:
  • 6 to 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 45 years
Experience in Sales & Marketing at Animal Feed Industry/Cattle Feed Industry/FMCG.Knowledge Required: Advanced level Sales & marketing strategies & plan, post sales service, and people Managerial basic knowledge.Additional Preference: Technical proficiency (Cattle) on farm management and disease diagnosisSkills / Competency / GCF Required: Leading Others & Leading BusinessSkills & Expertise:Animal Feed,Sales & MarketingCompensation & Other Benefits:Provident Fund (PF)GratuityFestival Bonus 2Group Life InsuranceGroup Health InsuranceLeave EncashmentLeave Fare Assistance (LFA)
