- Maintain accurate financial records of the project compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
- Prepare, check, and record all vouchers, invoices, bills, and receipts related to project activities.
- Ensure timely disbursement and settlement of project funds request and advances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as per donor and organizational requirements.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely deposit of project funds.
- Assist in preparing project budgets and expenditure plans.
- Monitor financial transactions to ensure transparency, accountability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Safeguard project financial documents and maintain proper filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with donor, NGO Bureau, and other relevant financial rules and regulations.
- Perform any other financial or administrative tasks assigned by the account's coordinator.
- Help implementing project activities of the project through frequent field visits.
- Ensure donor compliance including financial transaction
- Orient and update donors' compliance to the project staff.
- Check and verify the bills/Invoices as per plan and process for payment.
- Ensure appropriate fund allocation for all activities.
- Ensure to maintain and updates all accounts related books and documents such as cashbook, Bank book/check issue register, ledger, subsidiary ledger and other financial documentation associate with financial management.
- Financial risk analysis.
- Ensure proper management of petty cash management.
- Administrative support and human resources management
- Prepare expenses summary report and identify any deviation, made recommendation to Management.
- Analyze budget expenditure and prepare financial reports for project reporting.
- Prepare all kind of financial reports (Trial Balance, Receipt & Payment Account, Budget and Expenditure Statement, Cash and Expenditure Status, Cash Recap by Bank Account, Bank Reconciliation Statement etc.).
- Coordinate and communicate with Bank authority for any deviation.
- Maintain the sub-project bank account and prepare monthly bank Reconciliation Statements;
- Support internal audit section for internal audit and support external auditors with necessary information of the sub-project;
- Any other tasks, duties, or specific tasks assigned by the Program Manager, Coordinator (PC) and management of the organization
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
- 3 to 5 years
- Age 25 to 32 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in financial management within a reputable NGO,
- Good computer knowledge (MS office suite, typing both English and Bangla).
- Should have specific knowledge on financial analysis and accounting software.
- Ability to write clear reports, to analyze and interpret data, and to prepare spread sheets.
- Communication skill Strong in written and fluent English.
- Computer skill-MS Excel, MS Office, Accounts software
