Responsibilities & Context:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee and manage all commercial activities, including export-import documentation, banking, L/C management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sweater industry operations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient commercial processes.Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all export-import commercial activities for sweater manufacturing.
Prepare, verify, and manage L/Cs, contracts, and shipping documents in compliance with buyer and bank requirements.
Coordinate with merchandising, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and payment collection.
Liaise with banks, freight forwarders, and customs authorities for smooth transaction processing.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, buyer codes of conduct, and local laws.
Monitor and control commercial costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Negotiate with service providers for competitive rates and favorable terms.
Prepare regular commercial reports for management review.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

At least 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Sweater Industry

Additional Job Requirements:

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in commercial/export-import operations in the sweater or apparel industry.
Strong understanding of L/C procedures, UCP rules, shipping documentation, and customs regulations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
