The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing rehabilitation programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit physical disabilities.Job Context: The Residential Medical Officer (RMO) will ensure continuous medical care to the patients in collaboration with consultants and nursing staff. The RMO is responsible for managing patients admitted to the hospital, monitoring their progress, handling emergencies, and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.Job Responsibilities:Patient examination as a physician.Provide 24/7 on-site medical coverage for admitted patients.Prepare the duty roster for the OPD, Emergency & IDP physician & duty nurses.Administer pre/post/recovery room care for patients, as needed.Develop an effective patient care plan.Coordinate with the visiting Consultant and compile their observation/findings to enhance the quality of care.Performance evaluation of in-house physician of IPD, OPD and Emergency and find out the ways to improve clinical services.Arrange monthly meetings with the medical and non-medical staffs.Regular reporting to the Executive Director.Education Requirements:MBBS from a recognized Medical College and Registration with BMDC.MPH or equivalent academic qualification.Experience:
At least 10 years
Additional Job Requirements:10 years as physician & 4-5 years as RMO or equivalent post.Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Residential position (accommodation provided in hospital compound).Shift-based duties (rotational or fixed shifts depending on the institution).Hospital settings such as OPD, IPD, Emergency departments.Compensation & Other Benefits:Attractive salary based on qualifications and experience.
