The position of Power Supply System Lead Specialist is the key position in these BIDs. Missions/Main Duties:
  • Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System);
  • Be responsible for supervising the design and installation, testing and commissioning works of the power supply system;
  • Review and check the Contractor(s)’ design of the power supply system of the entire project in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements;
  • Supervise the installation's progress, conduct inspections for quality, quantity, and safety, and check the maintainability of the system, facilities, and equipment;
  • Assist the Client in testing and Commissioning on completion commissioning of the power supply system;
  • Assist Interface Management Lead Specialist in interface management issues;
  • Assist in resolving actual and potential claims from the Contractor(s) during the manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
  • Participate in optimisation, cost-benefit analysis and documented solution analysis and
  • Assist in System integration for the Railway System.
Profile/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 15 years of professional experience
  • Must have proficiency in English
  • 10 years of professional experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) power supply system works, including one large-scale (preferably >USD 0.5 billion) underground/ elevated metro rail project
  • 2 years of work experience in outside Expert’s country
