
Business Development Manager, Employee Banking

- Ensure that the team monthly targets are effectively allocated and are met consistently.
- Monitor and evaluate the day-to-day performance of direct reports and take necessary actions.
- Engage and motivate the team.
- Ensure direct reports practice appropriate sales and marketing skill
- Manage Client Complaints appropriately (if any)
- Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures and comply with local regulatory requirements
- Ensure best effort to protect bank's and client's interest against Fraud/ mis-selling
- Attend training, acquire knowledge and apply to job function
- To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures
- Ensure error free instruction submission by direct reports
- Ensure escalation of H&S related issues in a timely manner.
- Internal: CDD team, Operations, Credit, BORMs, All Product & Segment Heads and Managers, Client Relationship Heads, Branch Managers, Client Experience, Fraud Risk Management, Client Centre, SBIM, People capability, HR
- External: Clients
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Leadership skills to lead and motivate sales team.
- Strong selling and inter-personal skills required convincing customers and selling bank products.
- Creativity in terms of meeting customer demands with existing products.
- Initiative and drive to achieve set targets and service standards.
- Organisation skills (Campaigns, Promotions, Mail shots, seminars etc.)
- Adherence level of Bank's policies and procedures
