Responsibilities & Context:Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.Source, negotiate, and finalize contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment as per project and operational requirements. Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with company policies (government rules of purchase items vat and tax).Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices. Maintain and update suppliers/vendor database and ensure the availability of a competitive pool of suppliers.Reviewing, comparing and analyzing data to determine which vendors offer the best value for products and services. Frequently market visit for local purchase and analyze market for new sourcing. Quality and cost control.Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals. Establishing delivery schedules, monitor progress & contact suppliers to resolve problems if any.Establishing professional relationships with exist and new vendors and suppliers for smooth competition of purchase related activities. Maintaining and updating a list of vendors/suppliers. Negotiating and completes contracts with vendors for optimal cost and on time deliveryMaintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing. Do regular daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.Coordinate with internal departments (such as Accounts, Store/Inventory and Production) to ensure smooth procurement processes. Request credit notes from suppliers and send to Accounts Payable for processing.Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve any supply chain or quality issues.Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and price lists. Assist in conducting market research and cost analysis for effective decision-making.Education Requirements:
  • Masters
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management
  • PGD in SCM (Supply Chain Management) or MPSM (Master of Procurement and Supply Management) is preferred.
Experience:
  • 4 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Furniture Manufacturer
