Responsibilities & Context:Operations Management:Oversee end-to-end trading operations including local procurement operational activities, inventory management, and distribution of goods.Ensure timely execution of delivery orders from sourcing to delivery while maintaining quality standards.Monitor KPIs for operational efficiency, cost optimization, and service quality.Develop and implement SOPs to streamline workflows and minimize operational risks.Supply Chain & LogisticsPlan and manage domestic logistics, including shipping, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely shipment and clearance.Oversee warehouse management including stock levels, proper housekeeping, FIFO/LIFO, pest control management, and loss prevention.Compliance SupportSupport risk management initiatives by addressing operational bottlenecks and compliance risks.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, train, and mentor the operations team (logistics, warehousing, supply chain, QC).Conduct performance reviews and set clear targets aligned with business objectives.Build cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Sales, and Finance teams.Cost & Performance ManagementPrepare and manage the annual operations budget.Monitor cost variances and implement efficiency improvement plans.Lead initiatives to reduce wastage, improve productivity, and optimize working capital.Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementDevelop strong relationships with vendors, logistics partners, and regulatory agencies.Establish the SLA with the all service providers as per industry benchmark standards.Negotiate contracts with service providers in collaboration with logistics team head to confirm the service from the transportation, warehousing, and handling.Ensure smooth coordination with Sales people for order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience:
  • 10 to 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Trading or Export/Import, Shipping, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 45 to 50 years
  • Only Male
Master's in any discipline, preferably in Supply Chain Management (SCM).Must have clear knowledge on Physical Distribution Management, Inventory Management system & Logistics support.Skills & Expertise:Cost control,Maintenance Data Analysis and Reporting,Process optimization,SOP Development,Suppliers and Vendor Management,supply chain managementCompensation & Other Benefits:
