Responsibilities & Context:

Develop, implement, and manage garment construction techniques specific to intimate apparel (lingerie, underwear, shapewear, active intimates, etc.) to ensure product quality and comfort.
Review technical packs, CADs, patterns, and size specifications to ensure accuracy before bulk production.
Work closely with the design, merchandising, and sampling teams to develop prototypes and ensure timely sample submission.
Ensure pattern corrections, grading, and size set approvals according to buyer requirements.
Monitor fabric performance, trims quality, and construction details to meet buyer standards and compliance.
Resolve technical issues during sample development and bulk production with a solution-oriented approach.
Support production teams in improving sewing techniques, machine utilization, and process efficiency for intimates.
Liaise with buyers/QA representatives during development and pre-production meetings to ensure all requirements are met.
Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery of samples and bulk production.
Train and guide the sample and technical teams on garment engineering best practices.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience:

3 to 5 years
