Responsibilities & Context:As a Manager or Assistant Manager in the Sales Department for Auto Service Equipment / Garage Equipment, your role will involve promoting, selling and providing technical support for a range of automotive workshop tools and machines. You will bridge the gap between technical knowledge and customer needs, ensuring tailored solutions and customer satisfaction.Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with workshops, dealerships, service centers and automotive businesses.
  • Generate leads, conduct product presentations and close sales deals.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth through strategic planning and market analysis.
Technical Knowledge and Demonstration:
  • Strong understanding of vehicle engines, transmission systems, and braking systems to align equipment solutions with client requirements.
  • Proficient in demonstrating and explaining the functionality and benefits of equipment such as:
  • Engine scanners
  • ATF exchanger machines
  • AC service station machines
  • Injector cleaners and tester machines
  • Wheel balancer machines
  • 3D wheel alignment machines
Product Knowledge and Market Awareness:
  • In-depth knowledge of various Auto Service Equipment and Garage Tools including their applications, competitive advantages and maintenance requirements.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor products and technological developments.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent pre-sales and post-sales service.
  • Understand customer needs, propose suitable equipment solutions and follow up on service satisfaction.
Training and Support:
  • Provide training to customers and internal staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Support installation, commissioning and basic troubleshooting as needed in coordination with the technical team.
Reporting and Coordination:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and market feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal departments like service, logistics, and finance for smooth order execution and after-sales service.
Learning & Development:
  • Willingness to continuously learn about new technologies and service equipment entering the market.
  • Attend training programs and trade shows to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Diploma in Automobile
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
  • 5 to 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Automobile, Importer, Motor Workshop
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Only Male
