Manager/Sr. Manager - Supply Chain (Dyes and Chemicals)

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies specific to dyes and chemicals to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise and plan the most efficient administrative procedures related to Purchase operations for Dyes and chemicals and all activities related to vendors including identification of new vendors, managing relationships with the existing ones, bills clearance, audits, vendor ratings, etc.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process for dyes and chemicals ensuring timely an uninterrupted supply of Dyes & Chemicals to all factory Units and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting dyes and chemicals.
• Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency while maintaining product quality standards.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Utilize data analytics to forecast demand accurately and manage procurement activities accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to handling chemicals throughout the supply chain.
• Collect and prepare accurate dyes and chemical forecast and corresponding monthly budgets Collect quotations/ PI, price lists from vendors for required products and compare with all possible alternatives in the market at same price category before finalizing.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive comparative statement to evaluate vendor quotations as per quantity and technical requirements from users and review supply arrangements that will deliver value for money.
• Negotiate procurement terms & conditions with the vendors before placing order and issuing Purchase Order/ Indent.
• Follow up with vendors till delivery of products. Check incoming products and take corrective actions if any discrepancies are found.
• Create Time & Action plan (TNA) for tracking work status and follow up regularly.
• Work with Inventory team for making, implementing & monitoring effective procurement/ sourcing schedules & stabilizing the quantity limits for effective inventory control (minimum reorder quantity, etc.)
• Identify areas of cost control while working closely with Inventory team. Discuss possible actions that can be taken towards cost optimization, plan and initiate implementation after feasibility analysis.
• Build and maintain a strong network and collaborative relationships within and outside the organization with all parties that come in interaction (like vendors, suppliers, etc.)
• Vendor Management Vendor performance evaluation - Classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like product category, cost, quality, timely delivery etc.
• First level Verification of bills submitted by vendors. Raising debit notes for any shortage of goods received.
• Ensure to submit bills and other documents regularly and properly to concerned departments to clear payments as per committed period with the vendor.
• Coordinate with Finance team for timely bill processing of vendor payments.
• Plan schedules and cooperate with conduct audits with new as well as existing vendors to ensure all areas of suppliers are compliant.
• Ensure all documentation is maintained for such inspections and audits.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in supply chain management.

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile, Spinning, Dyeing Factory, Washing Factory

• Age At least 32 years
• Only Male

• Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management managerial role within the textile industry, specifically with dyes and chemicals.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing vendor relationships effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
• Adept at using software tools for data analysis and reporting related to supply chain metrics.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach towards problem-solving with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
