Responsibilities & Context:Strategy & Policy:Source development & evaluating appropriate suppliers that can provide value to the business at the best price.Assist to HOD for preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly procurement action Plan for supply chain department.Assist to HOD for preparing company wise yearly procurement budget for the whole group.Assist to HOD for Developing new & alternative procurement sources & maintain supplier database with suppliers rating and identify the best and the right suppliers to get the quality products in time.Sourcing & Negotiation:Source new suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and manage tender processes to secure the best prices and terms.To reduce the processing time, Oversee the creation, AMS approval & tracking of purchase orders, and ensure timely order fulfillment for smoothly running the process.Ensure to check the actual/competitive price of different goods and materials by visiting the market frequently.Enlist potential & reliable vendors and ensure that procurement of materials is in conformity with material requisition/indent as well as procurement policies & guidelines.Supplier Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor their performance, and ensure contractual obligations are met.Operate ERP Software and KPI Software.Cost & Risk Management:Drive cost savings through various strategies and identify/mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.Arrange to reconcile the monthly information of procurement software with physical inventory. And ensure that procurement software is always being updated and accurate.Planning and organizing the purchase activities of the group from the local & the foreign sources in order to achieve the set target within competitive price margin.Ensure availability of quality goods/services at right time, place & price so that the flows of ongoing projects jobs are not interruptedĀ·Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance performance and professional skills.Internal Collaboration:Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure their requirements are met.Ensure procurement of requisite materials in conformity with procurement guidelines and policies of the organization by maintaining the project budgets.Ensure timely payment to the vendors in co-ordination with HOD and relevant department.Compliance:Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.Ensure that all procurement such as equipment, materials, consumable stores, office supplies, merchandise and professional services are always based on competitive procurement procedures as approved by managementĀ·Monitor procurement of materials for the organization in conformity with material requisition in accordance with project budget as well as procurement guidelines and policies.Ensure to check the actual/competitive price of different goods and materials by visiting the market frequently.Reporting & Analysis:Monitor and report on purchasing activities, expenditure, and procurement metrics, including savings achieved.Assist to HOD for Developing policies & SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for Supply Chain Department of the Company.Assist to HOD for preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly procurement action Plan for supply chain department.Assist to HOD for Developing new & alternative procurement sources & maintain supplier database with suppliers rating and identify the best and the right suppliers to get the quality products in time.Market Analysis:Stay informed about market trends, new suppliers, and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • B.Sc. in Electric mechanical/ Mechanical Engineering from any reputed University BUET/RUET/CUET/AUST/NSU/BRAC.
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management.
Experience:
  • 10 to 15 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate, Group of Companies, Developer
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age 36 to 50 years
Also must have strong product knowledge of MEP Items Source & Procurement i.e. Lift, Generator, Sub-station, Fire Fighting equipment including Fire detection & Fire Protection, Basement ventilation.Should be capable of both local & foreign purchase.Skills & Expertise:Construction Management,Electrical Installation and Maintenance,Market Knowledge,Negociation Skill,substationCompensation & Other Benefits:
