Responsibilities & Context:(Persons having experience on livelihood programming for persons with disabilities will get preference)Location of Posting: Ukhiya, Cox's BazarContract Duration: Till 31st March, 2026Job SummaryPROTTYASHI, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement UK Resilience and Adaptation Fund (RAF) in the Rohingya and host community of Cox's Bazar with the technical support of Handicap International. ROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Livelihood Officer for the RAF Project to start from 1st October, 2025.ReportingLivelihood Officer will report to Project Manager. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization's other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in identifying and selecting persons with disabilities in refugee and host communities following the beneficiary selection criteria.Conduct baseline survey in the targeted Rohingya and host communities to identify beneficiaries as per the project objectives and outcomes.Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.Create batches of the persons with disabilities for the arrangement of the non-formal skill training in the targeted camps and host community unions.Mobilize the project beneficiaries to engage with skill development and cash for work interventions through active participation.Organize selected Rohingya and host community beneficiaries for timely participation in the vocational skill training sessions.Support distribution of the input supports to the graduated beneficiaries on self-employment generation.Support the beneficiaries to develop self-employment initiative with the input supports provided and manufacturing of the products at the host and camp level.Supervise business initiatives of the project beneficiaries through regular visits to the beneficiaries' households and providing necessary guidance.Facilitate market linkage for the livelihood activities of the persons with disabilities.Organizational values and norms towards Safeguarding and PSEAPROTTYASHI is committed to preventing any type of unwanted behaviour at work including sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse, lack of integrity and financial misconduct and expects staff to promote the welfare of children, young people and adults at all times. Bachelor/Honors

Experience:

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

Additional Job Requirements:At least 03 year of professional experience in humanitarian response working directly with the beneficiaries.Experience on livelihood programming for persons with disabilities in refugee context.Compensation & Other Benefits:Monthly Gross Salary will be 65,000 BDT with regular traveling and communication bill.Company Information:A Voluntary Social Development Organization
