Responsibilities & Context:Purpose StatementTo lead and manage the internal audit activities for Jamuna Group's Denim & Woven operations, ensuring robust internal controls, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous operational improvements. This role is critical for risk mitigation and driving audit best practices across production, procurement, inventory, and compliance functions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee the annual audit plan for denim and woven units, ensuring alignment with business risks and strategic priorities.Perform detailed operational, financial, compliance, and process audits covering all key areas such as production, procurement, inventory, costing, and compliance.Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes across manufacturing and commercial functions.Ensure strict adherence to Jamuna Group policies, buyer requirements, labor laws, environmental and safety regulations.Validate costing accuracy, raw material consumption, wastage, and inventory controls specific to denim and woven garment production.Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations; present findings and risk insights to senior management and GM-Audit.Track implementation of corrective actions and process improvements identified through audit observations.Mentor and guide audit team members, promoting skill development and ensuring high-quality audit execution.Lead special audits, fraud investigations, and ad-hoc assignments as requested by senior management.Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (BBA / B.Com).Professional certifications such as CA (CC & Professional Level Completed), CMA (1200-1600 Marks Completed), or ACCA Qualified).
Experience:
  • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Spinning
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Age At least 28 years
  • Only Male
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of internal audit experience, ideally in textiles, garments, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Audit experience on Bills Pre-payment, Market Rate Verification, Procurement Process, Inventory, Production process, Delivery Process, Utility, Costing and different types of audit of Denim, Woven, Spinning Industry.
Skills:
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of internal control systems, risk assessment, and audit methodologies.
  • Good understanding of garments/textile manufacturing processes, especially in denim and woven segments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Analytical & Audit Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Capable of handling large volumes of data and documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Behavioral Skills: High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and factory management.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Other Preferences: Willingness to travel to factory locations (inside/outside Dhaka) as required.
  • Sound understanding of compliance and labor law practices in the RMG (Ready-Made Garments) industry.
