Responsibilities & Context:ASIA COATINGS (PVT) Ltd. A fully owned subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC which is a multinational wood coating and paint company headquartered in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution wood coatings and products related to the retail and industrial sectors. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of Area Sales Manager - Sales.Job DescriptionServe customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products.Ensure timely collection of payments, including follow-up on overdue accounts.Monitor and address customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.Supervise and guide Sales Executives in their day-to-day operations.Deliver product knowledge and training sessions to lacquer painters and sales staff.Monitor team performance and provide coaching for continuous improvement.Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand the distribution network.Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the market.Analyze market size and share, and formulate strategies to capture competitor market segments.Prepare and execute weekly and monthly sales plans and targets.Submit detailed market analysis reports and call reports to the reporting manager.Prepare accurate sales and deposit forecasts based on market trends.Ensure effective branding and merchandising in the assigned territory.Monitor and implement promotional activities in line with company guidelines.Stay updated on competitor activities, pricing strategies, product offerings, and marketing techniques.Education Requirements:
Bachelor/Honors
