Responsibilities & Context:for the Injured Student/ People in the Aftermath of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Bangladesh through BLBC. This project's aim to providing immediate financial support to impacted individuals during the movement as part of immediate crisis response and Enhancing rehabilitation of injured individuals through medical, physical by providing prosthetic and orthotic service and mental healthcare on an immediate and long-term basis.Assistant Technician, Prosthetic and Orthotic will involve hands-on technical assistance, ensuring the quality and functionality of devices, maintaining workshop equipment, and providing guidance to patients on proper use and care of their appliances.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the Senior Technician in fabricating orthotic and prosthetic appliances for patients.Take patient casts and perform modifications under supervision to prepare appropriate devices.Set alignment for initial trial fittings and implement necessary adjustments.Perform final finishing of appliances after corrections.Provide patients with clear guidelines for the use and maintenance of appliances.Maintain and properly operate all machinery and tools used in the workshop.Ensure the cleanliness of the workplace.Minimise material wastage and promote efficient use of resources.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality of products.SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.Education Requirements:
  • HSC
