Responsibilities & Context:Oversee the bookkeeping function, including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.Ensure all processes are simplified and provide recommendations through root cause analysis, aligning with key stakeholders for process/ control gaps identified.Ensure internal controls and continuous improvements.Maintain cross-functional activities, frequently communicate and discuss matters of operational complexity.Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and credit control.Involved in Purchase Order or Comparative statement finalization (Especially capex-related expenditure, discretionary items and high-value transactions).Involved in payment procedures, endorses the payment documents after pre-audit, but before cheque sign or bank transfer (BFTN, RTGS, etc.).Ensure proper record of inventory and fixed assets.Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.Ensure proper compliance with tax, VAT, and Customs as required by regulatory authorities.Oversee the team activities and guide them where necessary.Any other job assigned by the management.Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting

Experience:

2 to 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Telecommunication,Retail Store,Group of Companies

Additional Job Requirements:Candidates having experience in overseeing Retail outlets' accounting related tasks will get preference.Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).Familiarity with accounting software.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and high accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Collaborative team setting with growth opportunities.Skills & Expertise:Accounting and Finance,Accounting Data Entry,Accounting Software,Accounts and Finance,Finance/ Accounts,Retail Store Operation
