  • The Project Manager will field implement the project in coordination with the Head Office management, partners and other stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and compliant implementation of activities. S/he will provide a broad range of project management, operations, and technical support to the project.
  • Lead and guide the project team to ensure that project activities are executed in a coordinated and efficient manner in consultation with the management
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities and prepare regular reports for management. Ensure that all compliance documentation is readily accessible for audits and reviews.
  • Promote a clear understanding of compliance responsibilities and expectations amongst team members.
  • In consultation with the management, troubleshoot issues, including but not limited to award, financial, personnel, and compliance matters.
  • Implementation of different project interventions in the project area based on local suitability and evaluation of the intervention in contrast of climate-smart agricultural point of view and farmer return.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly, periodic, and quarterly details implementing Plan of the project
  • Ensure close communication with local government and administration and support activity planning on the related authorities.
  • Ensure active participation in local-level planning and execution.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly, periodic, and need-based reports.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and partners to discuss operational and implementation issues, provide solutions, and recommendations and develop demand-focused climate-smart agricultural actions.

  • Number of documents developed
  • Number of mainstreaming efforts/interventions taken forward
  • Contributed to policy and strategy developed and updated
  • Number of tools developed to provide clarity on the climate data and indicators
  • Quarterly Achievement of Grant Management KPIs for CCP
DECISION MAKING:Decisions taken independently:
  • Organize status update meetings with internal team
  • Organize weekly/bi-weekly meeting with senior management
  • Identify internal resource person(s) to enhance capacity and competency of NLRs as per their need.
  • Support timely and high-quality reviews and submissions of deliverables
Education Requirements:
  • Master of Social Science (MSS)
Master in Social Science or any relevant subjectExperience:
  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
Additional Job Requirements:
  • At least 5 years in disability inclusion related program management
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and duties in programs focused on organizational development in the Bangladeshi context
  • Proven experience managing operational components on large, complex donor-funded projects (with a strong preference for past disability focused project management experience, especially in Rohingya response context)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Leadership and communication skills to manage across teams in challenging contexts
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with teams, local counterparts, donors, and other stakeholders to achieve results
  • Fluency in Bangla and working written and oral proficiency in English are required
